why i'm awesome...

this will be a re-post for approximately 5 of you. i think.
Last night I made a huge meaty steak for dinner, and wanted to make a vegetable with it.
however, the broccoli i intended on cooking had gone bad, so i decided to make a bloody mary instead.

look at it this way:
  • Vodka is distilled from Potatoes.
  • Tomato juice
  • Celery Salt
  • Frank's Red Hot is made out of Cyanne Peppers. (TOTALLY a fruit)
  • Olives
  • Pickles are made out of Cucumbers.
  • Worcestershire, among other things, includes Garlic and Onions
  • and Lemon Juice

    see? TOTALLY healthy.
Also, the first official BBQ of 2004 was held at thefuckingvold's house this past Thursday to celebrate his departure on the latest decibully tour. they'll be playing several shows as part of SXSW and others on the way there and back. Go see them!
anyway, Many wonderful meat products were prepared, and due to a lack of hamburger buns, frejas was forced to roll his meat into sausage-like shapes in order to fit on hot dog buns. According to him, they were great.
And i'd just like to point out that Chili Brats aren't so good. Good in theory, yes. but the chili covers up a lot of the wonderful bratwurst taste one craves and in turn, just makes for a very sloppy meal.
Many more BBQ's will happen in the coming months. Quite possibly as part of the Milwaukee Brewers Home Opener tailgate party (april 9). Be prepared for recaps, and by all means share your meaty experiences with everyone.
Share in the gospel of meat!!
    Happy St. Patty's Day everyone!
Enjoy your corned beef and cabbage responsibly.
